A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
- MENT OF THAT CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY
SEWER PURPOSES LOCATED NORTH OF CERRITOS AVENUE,
WEST OF WALNUT STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to vacate
and abandon that certain easement for sanitary sewer purposes
extending from Cerritos Avenue to a point approximately 1250
feet northerly thereof located approximately 660 feet west of
Walnut Street; and
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of April, 1978, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit
evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find, from the evidence submitted, that that certain
easement for sanitary sewer purposes, hereinafter specifically
described, is unnecesary for present or prospective public
street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does determine that the
public convenience and necessity require the reservation and
exception of the easement(s) and right(s) of way also herein-
after specifically described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and
abandonment of that certain easement for sanitary sewer
purposes described as follows:
That portion of an existing sanitary sewer
easement described in deed recorded July 11,
1969 in Book 9019, page 321, Official Records
of Orange County, described as follows:
Parcel 1 : A strip of land 15 feet in width
being 7.50 feet on each side of a centerline
described as beginning at a point in the south
line of the Northeast auarter of Section 21,
Township 1 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 51, page 10, Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, distant
thereon S 89 59' 18 E, 285.73 feet from the
southwest corner of said Northeast quarter;
thence N 0 15' 16" W, 275.18 feet to a point,
said point being designated as "Point A."

Parcel 2 : A strip of land 20 feet in width
being l0 feet on each side of a centerline
described as beginning at "Point A as herein -
before described in Parcel 1; thence S 89 44'
44" W, 104.24 feet to a point in a line which
is parallel with and distant easterly 180 feet
from the west line of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 21; thence N 0 09' 34" W parallel
with the west line of said Northeast quarter,
1058.23 feet to a point distant southerly measured
along said parallel line, 1371 feet from the north
line of said Northeast quarter.
Excepting therefrom the north 143.87 feet.
Parcel 3 : A strip of land 20.00 feet wide shown
on maps of Tract No. 7946 recorded in Book 360,
pages 38 and 39 and of Tract No. 7947 recorded in
Book 360, pages 40 and 41, both of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County, as an ease-
ment for sewer purposes dedicated to the City of
Anaheim, California.

and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under
the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
