A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 145,
ALTERNATE EXHIBIT " A " FOR AREA I; NO CHANGE
FOR AREA II; EXHIBIT "K" FOR AREA III; EXHIBIT
"D" FOR AREA IV; EXHIBIT " A " FOR AREA V; AND
EXHIBIT "B" FOR AREA VI.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, has heretofore adopted a General Plan for the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 21st da,

(1) Area I, an area of land encompassing 5.8 acres
located northeast of the intersection of Haster Street and
Simmons Avenue; and
(2) Area II, an area of land encompassing 2.49 acres
located on the east side of State College Boulevard generally
south of Viking Avenue; and
(3) Area III, an area of land encompassing approxi-
mately 40 acres located northeast of the intersection of
Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue; and
(4) Area IV, an area of land encompassing approxi-
mately 28,000 square feet located adjacent to the northwest
corner of Katella Avenue and Walnut Street; and
(5) Area V, an area of land encompassing approxi-
mately 16 acres located adjacent to the southwest corner of
Rampart Street and Orangewood Avenue; and
(6) Area VI, an area of land encompassing approxi-
mately 150 acres located east of the Santa Ana Freeway, west
of State College Boulevard, north of Orangewood Avenue, and
south of Katella Avenue.
The precise location of each of the aforesaid areas
is as set forth on the respective exhibits hereinafter
adopted and incorporated herein by this reference.

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC78 -39 contain-
ing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing and a recommendation that said
Amendment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 145
be approved, in part, by the City Council changing the land
use designation for certain of the above described areas; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary
of evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 18th day of
April, 1978 as the time, and the Library Multi- purpose Room as
the place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No. 145
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 145, changing the land use designation in
the areas aforedescribed, should be approved in accordance with
Alternate Exhibit " A " for Area I; no change be made for Area II;
Exhibit "K" for Area III; Exhibit "D" for Area IV; Exhibit " A "
for Area V; Exhibit "B" for Area VI; and approving no amendment
to the Circulation Element at this time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 145 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed areas
be, and the same is hereby, approved in accordance with
Alternate Exhibit " A " for Area I; no change made for Area II;
Exhibit "K" for Area III; Exhibit "D" for Area IV; Exhibit " A "
for Area V; Exhibit "B" for Area VI; and approving no amendment
to the Circulation Element at this time, all in accordance with
Exhibits which are on file with the City Planning Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning Depart-
ment be, and the same is hereby, instructed to amend the
General Plan Map, and said text to conform to General Plan
Amendment No. 145 as herein adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim tY�is 18th day of April,
