A RESOLUTIC:N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHE:IM CERTAIN
REAL ?ROPERTY FOR AN EASE:tolENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
v{HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
is desirous of 9urchasing the hereinafter described real
property for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road
and public utility pur9os8s; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real
property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of BROADWAY HALE STORES,
INC., a California corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim
the followin~ described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly desoribed
as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portlon of Lot 8 of
the Anaheim Homestead Tract as shown on a map
filed in Book 26, oage 10 of Miscellaneous Reoords
in the office of the County Reoorder of Los Angeles
County, California, said Lot 8 being located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, des cribed as follows:
Commencing at a point in the Westerly prolongation
of the Southerly line of Tract No. 2049 as shown
on a map flIed in Book 56, Page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, distant 2.99 feet more or less West
of the Southwest corner of Lot 27 of said Traot 2049;
thence,
1. Northerly and Westerly along a curve concave
Northeasterly, having a radius of 446 feet, a central
angle of 5019'04" an arc distance of 41.09 feet, more
or less; thence,

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and. that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance or said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the
City of Anaheim, the sum of One and nO/100 Dollars ($1.00).
THE FOHEGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
