1960-5744RESOLUTION NO. 5744 A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1172. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from Jlessrs. A. Eidelson and David S. Collins, owners, of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The West 9L.0.00 feet of the North half of the South- east quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on DecemhAr 7 19 59 notices of which said public hearing were duly given as re- quired by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No 120 Series 1959 -60 denyilw Variance No. 1172 and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission denying said variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing on .Tare ry 12 1960 at 7000 olclock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi- sions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de- termine that: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. -1- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying Variance No. 1172 requesting permission to install a de luxe trailer park for tourists and travel trailers, including recreation facilities and other necessary services, on the property hereinabove described, be and the same is hereby sustained, and that Variance No. 1172 be and the same is hereby denied.
