A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CXlNVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUEL I C
UT ILITY PURPOSES 0
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wits An easement for road and
public utilitv purposes , and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NQY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of SHELL OIL COMPANY
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for road and pub1 ic
utility purposes, and more particularly described as followsl
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of land located in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the southerly line of Section
21, Township ~- South, Range lOWest, S.B.B. & M., distant
55 feet West from the Easterly line of said Section 21;
thence Northerly parallel with said Easterly line 60 feet
to a point, said point being the true point of beginning;
thenc e ,
1. N. L~40 3~-' 0511 E. 21.85 feet to a point, said point
being distant 40 feet Westerly from said Easterly line of
said Section 21; thence,
2. S. 00 05' 2C" E. 15.L~5 feet, more or less, to a point,
said point being distant 60 feet northerly of the southerly
line of said Section 21; thence,
3. s. 890 34' 05" W. 15.36 feet, more or less, to the true
point of beginning.
NOTE: This deed is given for the purpose of correcting the
description in that certain Grant Deed recorded in
Book 3703, Page 195 of Official Records of Orange
County, CalIfornia, on November 7, 1956, wherein
"Easterly" was erroneously used instead of "Westerly"
as the first word in the second line under Ill" above.

be and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
Ci~y of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and nO/lOO Dollars ($1000).
