A RESOLUTION OF 1'J:IL..; CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
O? ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF AN
EASEVillNT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY
FOR ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES; AND
AUTHORIZnw. THE EXECUTIOll OF SAID GRANT OF
EASENENT.
\"IHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company bas
requestecc authority for the right to construct, use, maintain,
alter, add to, repair, replace and/or remove, in, on and over
the real property hereinafter described, an electric line, con-
sisting of poles, necessary guys ana, anchoJ'B, cross-arms, ,.ires
and, other fixtures and, aF::lliances, fop conveyinG electric energy
to be used for liGht, heat, power, telephone and/or other pur-
poses; and
i'!HEHEAS, the City Council finds that the granting of
such right or easement in, on and over the hereinafter described
propepty for the purposes above set forth 1.ill not interfere
with any other contemplated public use of said property.
NOll, r2B:EREFO?.E, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that there be, and there is hereby, granted
to Southern California Edison Company, a corporation, its
successors and a.ssigns, the right to construct, use, maintain,
alter, alid to, repair, replace and/or remove, in, on, and over
the real property hereinafter descrlbed, situated in the County
of Orange, state of California, an electric line, consisting of
poles, necessary guys and anchors, cross-arms, wires and other
fixtures and. appliances, for conveying electric energy to be
used for light, heat, pOvTel', telephone and/or other purposes.
Said real property hel'einabove referred to and in, on and over
v,hich 8a.il1 easement is granted is descri beel. as follows:
The Southerly 6 feet of that portion of the
Southeast one-quarter of Section Twenty-two,
Townahlp Four South, Range Ten Nest, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian; which portion
is described in the deed to the Gpantor herein,
recorded July 10, 1956 in Book 3572, page 548
of Official Records of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHE~ RESOLVED that the Southern California
Edison Com,)any, its successors anc~, ass igns, and its and their
respective agents and employees, shall have the right to trim
or top such trees as may endanger or interfere with said electric
line, and shall have free access to said electric line and every
part thereof, at all times, for the purpose of exercising the
rights herein granted.
BE IT FURTHEH RESOLVED that the mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute a Grant of Easement
to carry out the purposes of this resolution and to complete the

granting of said easement to the Southern California Edison
Company.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 11th day of December, 1956.
