-® A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO INCLUDE
WITHIN THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM THE
DEVELOPMENT OF ORANGEWOOD AVENUE b
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to improve Oranoew_ood

to _ Los Zag,~„ S r~g~..~.~.~ and
WHEREAS, Oran ewood Avenue is an important
artery in the County of Orange and of general ounty interest; and
WHEREASs Article 2 and Article 3s Chapter 9y Division 2 of
the Streets and Highways Code authorises a Countys if it so de~iress
to expend funds apportioned to it out of the California Highway Users
Tax Fund for aid to any City in the improvements construction or repair
of a street within a City; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors intends toy by appropriate
action, provide in the County budget of the Special Road Improvement
Fund for the Fiscal Year L9b0-6I _.-__e_a sum of money for the improve
ment of streets within the incorporated cities of the County in acm
cordance with the Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Programo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that-the City of Anaheim hereby requests the Board of Su perm
visors of the County of Orange to allocate to said City from County
Funds the amount of $6.000.00 , said amount to be matched
by funds from said City'- o be used to aid said City in the improvement

rights of way; said improvements and acquisition of rights of way to be
in accordance with the attached project statemento
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Orange is hereby requested to find that said work and acquisi~
tion of rights of way on Orangewood Avenue s in the manner
provided, is in the general County interesto
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, by this Resolutions the City of
Anaheim agrees with the basic concepts of the Arterial Highways Financ~
ing Program; and further agrees that its share of the cost of improve
ments and rights of way will be available for the fiscal year ,a96Q~~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk bey and she is
hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of Orange Countyy California, arad
a certified copy to the County Surveyor and Road Commissioners Court
House Annex, Santa Ana, Californiae
