56R-3581 .- RESOLUTION NO. 3581 ,""""", " A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAF..EIM AMENDING RESOLU- TION NO. 3499 ENTITLED, " A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING ANTI DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF' ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF Th~ CITY AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE." WHEREAS, the City Council did, on October 9, 1956, duly pass and adopt its Resolution No. 3499 finding and deter- mining that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: The property lying on the South side of Burton Street between Acacia Street and Raymond Avenue, starting at Acacia Street and running Westerly along Burton Street for a distance of 540 feet and varying in depth from 80 feet to 110 feet, should be changed Erom R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE to R-l, SINGLE-FN1ILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the following condi- tions: 1. That the owner oE subject property deed to the City of Anaheim a strip of land 10 feet in depth along Burton Street for street widening purposes. 2. That curbs, gutters and sidewalks be in- stalled on Burton Street as required by the City Engineer; and did fUrther authorize and direct the City Attorney to pre- pare and submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said code to accomplish the object therein Eound and determined to be nec- essary and proper; and WHEREAS, upon fUrther investigation, the City Coun- cil does find that a large number of the property owners in the area in which said property is located do not want sidewalks in- stalled, as specified in condition number 2 above, and that the provision requiring sidewalks to be installed should, therefore, be eliminated. -, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 3499 entitled "A Reso- lution of the City Council of the City of Anaheim Finding and Determining That a Change of Zone is Necessary in Certain Areas of the City and that Article IX, Chapter 2 oE the Anaheim Munici- pal Code should be Amended to Accomplish said Change of Zone" be, and the same is hereby amended in part as follows: That all of the property and area situated in the City oE Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as: -1- F-56-56-11 - ...-. That curbs and gutters be installed on Burton Street as required by the City Engineer.
