A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT OF SUB-
ORDINATION A1'ID A GRANT OF EASEMENT IN, OVER
AND UPON CERTAIN REAL POPERTY FOR ROAD AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of obtain-
an easement for road and public utility purposes in, over
upon the hereinafter described real property; and
\rHEREAS, C. S. Harding Mott and Isabel S. Mott, his
wife, are the owners of subject property and have offered to
grant to the City of Anaheim an easement for road and public
utility purposes in, over and upon said property; and
I,'IHZREAS, the Union Oil Company of California is the
owner of a certain interest in the property hereinafter de-
scribed and in, over and upon which the City of Anaheim desires
to obtain an easement for road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREP.S, said Union Oil Company of California has
tendered to the City of Anaheim an Agreement of Subordination
whereby said Union Oil Company agrees to subordinate its
interest in said property to the interest the City is de-
sirous of acquiring for road and public utility purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of C. S. Harding Mott
and Isabel S. Mott, his wife, to grant to the City of Anaheim
an easement for road and public utility purposes in, over and
upon that certain real property in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
That portion of Lot 11, of Anaheim Extension, in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on map of survey made by
William Hammel, filed in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the Southerly line of
Center Street, as shown on said map, South 740
37' 32" West 153.19 feet from the intersection
of said Southerly line of Center Street with a
westerly line of a 60' road known as Placentia
Avenue; thence South 00 25' L~5" 'Vest 26.24 feet
to a point on a line parallel to said South line
of Center Street and 25.25 feet southerly there-
from; thence North 7Ll_o 37' 32" East along said
parallel line 112.61 feet to the beginning of a
curve concave to the southwest and having a
radius of 15 feet; thence easterly and southerly
along said curve to a central arc of 1050 48' 13"
a distance of 27.70 feet to a point on a line
parallel with and 20 feet westerly of said west-
erly line of Placentia Avenue; thence South 00
25' LI-5!1 West 124.70 feet along said parallel line;
thence South 890 34r 15" East 20.00 feet to said
Westerly line of Placentia Avenue; thence North
00 25' 1+5" East along said westerly line 149.99
feet to the beginning of a curve concave to South-
west and having a radius of 20 feet; thence

tance of 36.93 feet to a point in the southerly
lin~ of said Center Street; thence along said

feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted, and that the City of
Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that that certain Agreement
of Subordination, signed by the Union Oil Company, dated
October 30, 1956, whereby said Union Oil Company agrees to
subordinate its interest in that portion of the hereinabove
described property, in, over and upon which the City is ac-
quiring an easement for road and public utility purposes,
to the interest of the City of Anaheim, be, and the same is
hereby, accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer
of the City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized to
payout of the General Funds of the City of Anaheim to the
owners of said property, C. S. Harding Matt and Isabel S.
Mott, his wife, the sum of $1.00, and to the Union Oil Company
the sum of $1.00.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 20th day of November, 1956.
