A RESOLUTION OF TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM 'APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
PLICENTIA RELLTING TO A CONTRIBUTION BY THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM TO COVER A PORTION OF THE
COSTS OF CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWERS IN
CIES STREET.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this Council a pro-
posed contract Agreement covering certain construction in the City
of Anaheim by the City of Placentia under the provisions of Divi-
sion 7 of the Streets and Highways Code as contemplated by Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 444 of the City of Placentia; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement, among other things, provides
for a contribution by the City of Anaheim to the City of Placentia
to pay a portion of the costs of the construction within the in-
corporated limits of the City of Anaheim, all as set forth in
said proposed Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said proposed con-
tract Agreement is fair upon its face and would be beneficial and
for the best interests of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience and necessity
require the execution of said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT I5 HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are each hereby authorized to execute said
Agreement for and in behalf of the City of Anaheim;
said Agreement to be executed in duplicate, and
there shall be attached thereto a copy of this
Resolution authorizing its execution.
SECTION 2. That all of the terms and conditions
set forth in said Agreement are hereby incorpor-
ated in and made a part of this Resolution as
though each provision thereof had been set forth
herein in full.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was approved and signed by me
this 12th day of July, 1960.
