A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 6041 PERTAINING TO ACQUISITION BY
EMINENT DOMAIN OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PARK.
AND RECREATION PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
May 24, 1960, adopt Resolution No. 6041 finding and determining
that public interest and necessity required the acquisition,
by eminent domain, of all that certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
The West half of the West half of the
South 20 acres of the Southeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 18,
Township i South, Range 10 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian;
EXCEPTING the following:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the
above described parcel of land; thence,
North 208 feet along the East line of the
above described parcel of land; thence,
West 190 feet; thence South 208 feet;
thence East to the point of beginning;
for the improvement and maintenance of a public park for park
and recreation purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said resol-
ution should be rescinded and that all proceedings to acquire
said parcel of real property should be terminated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 6041, determining
the necessity for and directing the acquisition by eminent
domain of the hereinfbove described real property for park
and recreation purposes, be, and the same is hereby rescinded,
and that all proceedings for the acquisition of said real
property be and the same are hereby terminated.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 28th day of June, 1960.
