RESOLUTION NO. 3550
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT 'OF/EASEMENT
OVER, UNDER AND ACROSS CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of obtaining an easement for road and public utility
purposes ,over, under and across Lot 11 of the Anaheim
Extension as shown on a map filed in Book 49, Page 20 of
Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Cit,. of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept the offer of Seaside Oil Company, a
Califor',ia corporation, to grant such easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Seaside Oil Company,
a California corporation, to grant to the City of Anaheim an
. easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that certain real property in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
,Beginning at the intersection point.. oj. the center lines of
Placentia Avenue and Anaheim-Olive Road, said point
being located in Lot 11 of the Anaheim Extension as
shown on a map filed in Book 49, Page 20 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County; thence N 00 25' 45" E along the center line of
said Placentia Avenue 133 feet more or less; thence N
880 28' 18" W, 50 feet; thence S 00 25' 45" W, 65 feet
more or less; thence S 500 46' 29" W, 19 feet more or
less to a point, said point being distant 40 feet north-
erly of the center line of said Anaheim-Olive Road;
thence S 00 25' 45" W, 40 feet to the center line of said
Anaheim-Olive Road; thence easterly along the last said
center line 74 feet more or less to the point of beginning;
RESERVING to Grantor, its successors and assigns, the
right of unobstructed ingress and egress over and across
said easement to the remaining property of Grantor sub-
servient to said easement.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no/lOO Dollars ($1.00).
