A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY CXlUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CtlNVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASBlENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit, An easement for road and public
utili ty purposes J and
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is fOr tne benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.

the City of Anaheim that the offer of EDWARD A. SLAGLE and
EFFIE P. SLAGLE. husband and wire,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following' described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility purposes
. and more particularly described as follows:
An easement ror road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 50 feet of a portion of
Lot 6 or the Anaheim Extension as shown on a map of sur-
vey made by Wm. Hamil, signed by Alfred Robinson on 12-
11-1868, and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, Calif., described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the centerline of Center Street
as shown on said map, at the intersection of said center-
line with the Southerly extension of the Westerly line of
the tract of land conveyed by Ethel IvIariene Hendren to
Frank X. Leonard and wife by deed recorded IvIarch 10, 1947
in Book 1492, Page 144 of official records. Thence South
740301 West along said centerline of Center Street 108.5
feet; thence North 140431 fiest parallel with the Westerly
line of said tract of land conveyed to }~ank X. Leonard
and wife by deed above mentioned and the Southerly exten-
sion of same to an intersection with the Westerly prolonga-
tion of the Northerly line of said tract or land conveyed
to Frank X. Leonard and wife by deed above mentioned.
Thence N 75001'East along said prolonged line to the North-
westerly corner of said tract of land conveyed to Frank
Leonard and wife by deed above mentioned. Thence South
140431 East along the iiesterly line of said tract of land
conveyed to Frank X. Leonard and wire by deed above men-
tioned and the Southerly extension thereof to the point of
beginning.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 56 feet.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer Qf the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and nO/100 Dollars ($1.00).
