OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A ~ DEED 'OONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN RIAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASBlENT FOR ROAD Arm PUBLIC
UTTLTTY PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to witt An easement for road and public
ut+.1:i ty purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for tne benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NCM, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of EDWARD A. SLAGLE and
EFFIEP. ~GLE. husband and wife.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for road and public utility Dlll"Dqses
, and more particularly described as follows t An ease-
ment for road and public utility purposes over, under and across
the Southerly 50 feet of that portion of Lot 6 of the Anaheim
Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made by Wm. Hamil and ack-
nowledged by Alfred Robinson on 12-11-1868 on file in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, and be-
ing located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, d.escribed as follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the centerline of Center Street
as shown on said map with the Westerly line or the Southerly ex-
tension thereof of the tract of land conveyed by James B. Mulvey
to Cornelia Mulvey et al., also by deed recorded 1-6-34 in Book
6501, Page 297 of Official Records, being the Westerly line or
the Southerly extension thereof of the land described in Certi-
ficate of Title No. 9794 issued by the Registrar of Titles of
Orange County office in 12-24-43; Thence N.15024IW. along said
Westerly line or the Southerly extension thereof a distance of
407.32 feet to the true point of beginning; thence South 75001'
W. a distance of 107.5 feet; thence S.14043' E. to the centerline
of said Center Street; thence N.74030'E. along said centerline of
Center Street 107.5 feet to a point distant 4.86 feet, s.74030'W.
along said centerline from the intersection of said centerline of
Center Street with the Westerly line or the Southerly extension
thereof of said tract of land conveyed by the deed above mentioned,
being the Westerly line or the Southerly extension thereof of said
land described in the Registrar's Certificate of Title above men-
tioned; thence N. 140 43'W. 407.38 feet to the true point of
beginning.
be and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
C1 ty of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer Qf the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and no/100 Dollars (Sl.OO).
