A RE30LUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OFFICER:! AND EMPLOYEm
OF SAID CITY TO ORDER, RECEIVE AND SIGN FOR, SURPLUS
FEDERAL PROPERTY FOR DELIVERY OR SHIPMENT.
WHEREAS, Federal Surplus Property will be available to cities,
counties and other units of government for civil defense purposes by virtue
of P. L. bill 655, which under the terms of the act, Federal Surplus Property
will be distributed without cost to local civil defense organiza~ioRS, except
for certain handling and shipping charges, and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is eligible to receive and contract for
Federal Surplus Property, and hereby authorizes the following officers of the
City of Anaheim to order, receive, and sigJ\ for the delivery and shipment of
Federal Surplus Property under Federal Civil Defense Administration Regulations:
Harold Daoust, Purchasinq Agent
George F. Oelkers, Director Utilities
Trayis K. Cushlllan, Supt. Mechanical Maintenance
Charles E. Griffith, Civil Defense Coordinator
