RESOLUTION NO. 3502
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF TEE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING
VARIANCE NO. 615.
WHEREAS, the City Planning CommIssion of the
City. of Anaheim did receive a petition from the owner
andlor agent of certain real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
A portion of the Ni of the NEt of the Nwt
of Section 22, T4S, R10W, S.B.B. & M. Said
property is located on the west side of
Manchester Avenue, approximately 300 feet
southerly of Ball Road.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold
a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on September 4, 1956, notices of which said public hearing
were duly given, as required by law and the provisions of
Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due
inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and
in its be~lf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports ofrered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution
No. 46, Series 1956-57, recommending that Variance No. 615
be granted for the term therein set forth; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council
did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action taken by
the City Planning Commission in granting said variance and
did set a public hearing thereon to be held on the 9th day
of October, 1956, at 7:00 O'Clock P. M. in the City Hall in
the City of Anaheim, and notice of suoh public hearing was
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section
9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by
itself and in its behalr, and arter due consideration of all
the evidence and reports offered at said hearings, the City
Council does find that:

1. There is no substantial property
right possessed by other property
in the same vicinity and zone and
denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property
can be adequately developed and used
under the present zone.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission granting Variance No. 615 requesting permission
to erect one "V" type double faced outdoor advertising
structure on the property hereinabove described, be and the
same is hereby, disapproved, and that Variance No. 615 be,
and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of October, 1956.
