RESOLUTION NO. ~497
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2, OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED
TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its
intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding
of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed
change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested there inj and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its 0uinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed
changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
describedj and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
9th day of October , 195~, as the time and the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of ~City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Codej and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Oommissionj and
WHEREAS, the Oity Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth, is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
change said property and area and that the inclusion of said prop-
erty and area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
said property and area and w1l1not depreciate the values of prop-
erty in adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
Oity of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
PAROEL 1:
Lots No. 15-17 inclusive; 22-24 inclusive; 46-48
inclusive and 53-55 inclusive in Tract No. 2567,
more particularly described as follows:

That portion of the South half of the Northeast
quarter of Section 7, in Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, County of

Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 51, page 10, Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County, des-
cribed as follows:
Commencing at a point in the West line of said
Northeast quarter, distant thereon North 00 46'
50" West 786.35 feet from the Southwest corner
thereof, and running thence North 88034'25" East
283.61 feet to the true point of beginning of
the boundary of the land herein described; thence
continuing North 88034'25" East 560.60 feet; thence
South 0046'50" East 192.76 feet; thence South 880
34'25" West 560.60 feet; thence North 0046'50" West
192.76 feet to the true point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: Lots No. 74-85 inclusive in 'rract No. 2567, and
more particularly described as follows:

east quarter of Section 7, in Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as
shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 51, Page 10,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the South line of said
Southwest quarter, distant thereon North 88034'25"
East 844.25 feet from the Southwest corner thereof,
and running thence North 0046'50" West 770.78 feet
to the true point of beginning of the boundary of
the land herein described; thence continuing North
0046'50" West 387.42 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve, concave Southwesterly, having a radius
of 200.00 feet; thence Northwesterltt along said curve
through a central angle of 23048'24' an arc distance
of 83.10 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve,
concave Northeasterly, having a radius of 200.00 feet;
thence Northerly along said reverse curve through a
central angle of 23048'24" an arc distance of 83.10
feet to a line tangent; thence North 0046'50" West
along said tangent line, 0.30 feet to a point in the
South line of Tract No. 1161, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in Book 36, pages 45 and 46, Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County, said
point also being the intersection of said South line

MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
Subject to the following conditions:

2. That appropriate R-3 Deed Restrictions be
placed of record as required by the City
of Anaheim and approved by the aity Attorney,
covering the type of dwellings to be erected
on said lots.

3E IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an amenQ~ent to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code
to accomplish the object hereLn found and determined to be
necessary and proper.
