A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5850
PETITIONING THE CITY OF BUENA PARK FOR ITS
CONSENT TO THE CORRECTION OR RELOCATION OF
A CERTAIN BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE CITY OF BUENA PARK; DESCRIB-
ING THE PARCEL OF PROPERTY AFFECTED; AND
DESCRIBING THE PROPOSED NEW BOUNDARY LINE.
WHEREAS, the City Council did on March 1, 1960,
adopt Resolution No. 5850 entitled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM PETITIONING THE CITY OF BUENA
PARK FOR ITS CONSENT TO THE CORRECTION OR RELOCATION OF A
CERTAIN BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE
CITY OF BUENA PARK; DESCRIBING THE PARCEL OF PROPERTY AFFECTED;
AND DESCRIBING THE PROPOSED NEW BOUNDARY LINE and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that through inad-
vertence or oversight an error was made in said resolution in
describing the proposed location of the new boundary line;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 5850 adopted by the
City Council on Parch 1, 1960, be, and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows:
WHEREAS, there is an overlap of the boundaries of
the City of Anaheim and the City of Buena Park so that
a certain parcel of land as hereinafter described is,
according to the established boundary lines of the City
of Anaheim and the City of Buena Park, contained within
the boundaries of both the City of Anaheim and the City
of Buena Park; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of Anaheim,
with the consent and approval of the City of Buena Park,
to correct or relocate its boundary line so as to exclude
the overlapping area and make the relocated or corrected
boundary line of the City of Anaheim coincide with the
existing boundary line of the City of Buena Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby petition the
City of Buena Park for its consent to correct or relocate
the boundary line of the City of Anaheim by excluding the
parcel of property hereinafter described and establishing
the boundary of the city as hereinafter described:
Description of parcel of property affected:
Beginning at a point 400 feet Southwesterly from
the Southwest right of way line of Manchester
Avenue, as measured at right angles thereto,
said Southwest right of way line being located
as town and described in the said Houston Avenue

line:
Annexation, said point of beginning also being
in a line parallel with and 20 feet East of the
West line of the NE4 of Section 1, Township 1
South, Range 11 st,.San Bernardino Base and
Meridian; thence
North along said parallel line to a point, said
point being distant 55 feet from the Southwesterly
right of way line of said Manchester Avenue, as
measured on a bearing of N. 80° 11 50" East; thence
North 80° 41! 50" East to a point in a line
parallel with and 30 feet East of said West
line of the NE2 of Section 1; thence
South along the last mentioned parallel line to
a point 4OO feet Southwesterly from said South-
west right of way line of Manchester Avenue
as measured at right angles thereto; thence
Northeasterly along a line parallel with said
Southwesterly right of way line of Manchester
Avenue and 400 feet perpendicular thereto to
the point of beginning.
Description of proposed location of new boundary
Beginning at a point 400 feet Southwesterly from
the Southwest right of way line of Manchester
Avenue, as measured at right angles thereto,
said Southwest right of way line being located
as shown and described in the Houston Avenue
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, said point
of beginning also being in a line parallel with
and 30 feet East of the West line of the NE4 of
Section 1, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian, said point of
beginning also being in the existing city
limits line of the City of Anaheim and in the
existing city limits line of the City of Buena
Paris;
Thence North along said line parallel with and
30 feet East of the West line of said NE, being
along the Existing city limits line of the City
of Buena Park to a point which is 44.88 feet
from the Southwesterly right of way line of said
(Manchester Avenue, as measured on a bearing of North
80 11_1 .50 East, said point being in the exist-
ing city limits line of the City of Anaheim and
in the existing city limits line of the City of
Buena Park.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 3rd day of May 1960.
