A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM' AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC
COMPANY, GRANTING TO THE CITY PERMISSION TO
CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A 15 -1NCH SEWER PIPE
WITHIN A 30 -INCH CASING BENEATH THE TRACKS AND
PROPERTY OF SOUTHERN PACIFIC CO.;PANY AT OR
NEAR SOUTH 'ANAHEIM (ENGINEER STATION 29 +95)_
COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA:.
WHEREAS, the Southern. Pacific Company, a corporation,
has tendered to the City of Anaheim an agreement, granting to
the City, subject to the reservations, covenants and conditions
therein contained, permission to construct, reconstruct, main-
tain and operate a 15 -inch sewer pipe within a 30 -inch casing
beneath the tracks and property of Southern Pacific Company at
cr near South Anaheim crossing the center line of said tracks
at Engineer Station 2 in the location shown in red on the
print of Southern Pacific Company's Los Angeles Division Draw-
ing A -5460, Sheet No. 1 of 1, dated October 14, 1959 attached
to and made a part of the agreement above mentioned, said sewer
pipe line to be constructed and maintained in accordance with
the specifications indicated on the print of C. S. Drawing 171i1
also attached to and made a part of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the said Southern Pacific Company has sub-
mitted the above mentioned agreement to the City of Anaheim to
be executed by the Southern Pacific Company and the City,
which agreement the City Council finds would be for the benefit
and best interest of the City of Anaheim and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement tendered to the City of
Anaheim by the Southern Pacific Company, a corporation, granting
to the City, but subject to the reservations, covenants and con-
ditions therein contained, permission to construct, reconstruct,
maintain and operate a 15 -inch sewer pipe within a 30 -inch
casing beneath the tracks and property of Southern Pacific
Company at or near South Anaheim, crossing the center line of
said tracks at Engineer Station 29+95 in the location shown in
red on the print of Southern Pacific Company's Los Angeles
Division Drawing A- 51160, Sheet No. 1 of 1, dated October 1L,
1959 attached to and made a part of the agreement above mentioned,
said sewer pipe line to be constructed and maintained in
accordance with the specifications indicated en the print of
C. S. Drawing 1741 also attached to and made a part of said
agreement, be, and the same is, hereby approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are, hereby authorized to execute said
agreement above mentioned for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of May, 1960.

NOES COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said esolution on the 3rd day of May, 1960.
