A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUT ION OF ARIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT WITH
SEASIDE OIL COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Seaside Oil Company, a California Corporation, is the
owner of all that certain real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California described
as follows, to wit:
That portion of Lot 11 of Anaheim Extension,
as per Map of survey made by William Hamel
filed in the Office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, California, bounded
and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of
Placentia Avenue which is North 00 25' 45"
East 85 feet from the intersection of said
West line with the northerly line of Anaheim-
Olive Road as described in the deed to the
State of California recorded April 12, 1937,
in 883/89 of Official Records, in the Office
of the County Recorder and running thence
South 00 25' 45" West along said westerly line
of Placentia Avenue 85 feet to the intersection
of said westerly line with said northerly line
of Anaheim-Olive Road; thence westerly along
said northerly line 150 feet; thence North 00
25' 45" East parallel with said westerly line
of Placentia Avenue 60 feet; thence easterly
to the point of beginning;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it
would be to the advantage and for the best interest of the
City of Anaheim to have an easement for road and public
utility purposes over, under and across a p~ tion of said
property owned by Seaside Oil Company, and that said Com-
pany is willing to grant such easement upon the covenants
and conditions, and for the consideration hereinafter set
forth; and
WHEREAS, Seaside Oil Company has submitted to the
City Council a right of way contract, dated the 19th day of
September, 1956, duly executed by said Company, wherein and
whereby it is provided that upon delivery to it of a fully
executed copy of said right of way contract, it will forth-
with deliver to the City of Anaheim a Grant of Easement
whereby there shall be granted to the City of Anaheim an
easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the following described portion of the property
of Seaside Oil Company:

Beginning at the intersection point of the
center lines of Placentia Avenue and Anaheim-
Olive Road, said point being located in Lot 11
of the Anaheim Extension as shown on a map filed
in Book 49, Page 20 of Miscellaneous Maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange

line of said Placentia Avenue 133 feet more or

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE,D by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf
of the City of Anaheim, that certain right of way contract

of said right of way contract, said Seasl.de Oil Company shall
forthwith deliver to the City of Anaheim a Grant of ' Easement
for road and public utility purposes over, under and across
all that certain real property last hereinabove described.
2. That in consideration of and upon receipt of
the Grant of Easement to be made by Seaside Oil Company, the
City of Anaheim agrees to construct two 36' x 8' drive ap-
proaches on the remaining Anaheim-Olive Road frontage of said
Seaside Oil Company's property, and one 36' x la' drive ap-
proach on the Placentia Avenue frontage of its property, to-
gether with curbs and sidewalks along all intervening frontage
of its property on both Anaheim-01ive Road and Placentia Ave-
nue, such construction to be performed by the City of Anaheim
in accordance with SeaSide Oil Company's Drawing No. 055-608,
dated January 27, 1956, but at the sole cost and expense of
the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 25th day of September, 1956. .
