A RESOLUTION OF THK CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
COMPANY, A CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND
ASSIGNS, A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND
OPERATE A SPUR TRACK ACROSS CRESCENT WAY IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim as follows:
The City of Anaheim hereby grants to the Southern
P cifio Company, its successors and assigns, a permit to con-
struct, maintain and operate a standard gauge railroad track
at grade across Crescent Way in the City of Anaheim as requested
in application for permit on file in the Office of the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim, said grade and permit being
subject to all regulations and conditions within the juris-
diction of the City of Anaheim and subject to all conditions
including the expirtion as set forth in the franchise granted
to Southern Pacific Company by the City of Anaheim dated
June 9, 1948 and also subject to reasonable regulations of the
City of Anaheim with regard to installation and maintenance of
safety devices and with the specific provision that should
safety devices or signals be deemed necessary at such crossing,
the installation of such shall be made at no cost to the City
of Anaheim and further that any widening .;f Crescent Way at
said crossing, including the dedication of street right of way
within the railroad right of way, shall be accomplished at no
cost to the City of Anaheim. The center line of the railway
crossing is described as follows:
That certain p*rtion of trackage over and across
Crescent Way, 55 feet wide, at grade in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
the center line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southwesterly line of
Crescent Way, 55 feet wide, said southwesterly line
having a bearing of North 56 45° 46" West, distant
northwesterly thereon 26 feet from the intersection
of the southeasterly prolongation of said south-
westerly line and the northerly prolongation of the
westerly line of Crescent Way, 60 feet wide, said
westerly line having a bearing of North 00 08° 37"
West; thence northwesterly 99 feet along the arc of
a curve concave southwesterly, having a radius of
337.34 feet, to a point in the northeasterly line
of Crescent Way, 55 feet wide, said northeasterly
line having a bearing of North 56 54°46" West,
distant northwesterly thereon 145 feet from its
intersection with the easterly line of Crescent
Way, 60 feet wide, said easterly line having a
bearing of North 0 08° 37" West.

The above track Is shown in red Print marked "Drawing
C-896" dated January 22, 196 and revised August 19, 1960,
attached to the abve-mentioned application *f said Southern
PaCifi Company for thiG permit.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
resolution and thereupon the same shall take effect and be in
force,
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
