A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING IT'S
INTENTION TO APPROVE THE TRANSFER OF
A CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE FROM
CENTURY COMMUNICATIONS CORP. AND
CENTURY-TCI, L.P. TO ADELPHIA
COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION AND
ORDERING A HEARING THEREON.
WHEREAS, Section 1401 of the Charter of the City of
Anaheim establishes procedures for processing franchises; and
WHEREAS, an application has been received for the
transfer of the cable television franchise currently held by
Century Communications Corporation and Century-TCI, L.P. to
Adelphia Communications Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The City Council does hereby declare its intention to
approve the transfer of the Cable television franchise,
and
The City Council does hereby establish the following
date, time, and place where persons having an interest
therein or objection to the approval of the franchise
transfer may appear and be heard:
