1960-6302A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE PROPOSED BR OADWAY -G IL BERT
ANNEXATION ARE REASONABLY DEFINITE AND
CERTAIN AND AUTHORIZING FURTHER PROCEEDINGS
IN SAID ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 26th day of
July, 1960, Resolution No. 6176 was adopted by the City
Council consenting to the commencement of proceedings for
the annexation of inhabited territory to the City of Anaheim
known and designated as the "Broadway-Gilbert Annexation,"
and
WHEREAS, Thornton E. Piersall, City Engineer, has
examined the description of the boundaries of said proposed
annexation and has filed his written certificate dated
September 20, 1960, certifying that the boundaries of said
proposed annexation are definite and certain and can be
readily located and identified and the extent and boundaries
of the territory proposed to be annexed definitely established
and located, and
WHEREAS, based upon said certificate the City
Council finds that the boundaries of said propose annexation
are reasonably definite and certain and that further proceed-
ings should be had therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
that the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed
to the City of Anaheim and designated as "Broadway Gilbert
Annexation" be, and they are hereby determined to be definite
and certain and further proceedings in connection with said
proposed annexation are hereby approved and authorized.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 20th day of September, 1960.

of the City of Anaheim, held on the 20th day of September, 1960, by

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
