A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF A
TEMPORARY EASEMENT TO ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL DISTRICT FOR CONSTRUCTION AND PUBLIC
DETOUR PURPOSES; AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF SAID GRANT OF EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District, a
body corporate and politic, has requested a temporary easement to
terminate September 30, 1961, in connection with construction and
public detour purposes in, over, and across the real property
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the granting of such
temporary easement to terminate September 30, 1961, in, over, and
across said real property hereinafter described for the purposes
above set forth will not interfere with any other contemplated
municipal use of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that there be, and there is hereby, granted
to the ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, a body corporate
and politic, a temporary easement to terminate September 30, 1961,
tor construction and public detour purposes in, over and across
the real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the southwest quarter of Section 7,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
Los Coyotes, city of Anaheim, county of Orange,
state of California, per map recorded in book 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east line of Magnolia
Avenue N. 89 30' 50" E., 30.00 feet from a point
on the west line of said Section, distant thereon
N. 0 29' 10" W., 668.86 feet from the southwest
corner of said Section; thence N. 0 29' 10" W.,
432.56 feet along said east line; thence S. 23
24' 38" E., 153.40 feet to a line parallel with
and easterly 89.75 feet from said west line;
thence S. 0 29' 10" E., 150.00 feet along said
parallel line; thence S. 22° 26' 18" W., 153.40
feet to the point of beginning.
Subject to all matters of record.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized to execute a Temporary Easement
Deed to carry out the purposes of this resolution and to complete
the granting of said easement to the Orange County Flood Control
District.
