1960-6282WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter into an escrow with L. B. HARBOUR, JR. and RUTH I. HARBOUR, his wife, MERRILL BUTLER, JR. and SALLY R. BUTLER, his wife, F. C. HARRINGTON and JUANITA HARRINGTON, his wife, C. GILMORE WARD and M.ILDRED E. WARD, his wife, and CHARLES W. HESTER and NORA L. HESTER, his wife, at Orange County Title Company, Main Street at Fifth, Santa Ana, California, for the purchase of the herein- after described real property for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, to close said escr property to the Ci except all general and all covenants, rights -of -way and RESOLUTION NO. 6282 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUN CIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. -1- said Orange County Title Company is now ready ow, and a deed has been prepared conveying said ty of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances and special taxes for the fiscal year 1960 -61, conditions, restrictions, reservations, rights, easements of record. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: That portion of the West half of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 7, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a T iap recorded in Boo 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot B of Tract No. 2625, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 94, Pages 9 to 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California; thence along the West line of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 7, North. 0 16' 57" West 227.92 feet to the Northwest corner of said lest half; thence along the North line of said West half North 89° 25' 29" East 11 feet to a point distant along said North line South 89 25 29" West 165.02 feet from the Northeast corner of said West half; thence South 0° 16' 20" East 90.16 feet to the Northwesterly line of Lot E of said Tract No. 2625; thence along the boundaries of said Tract No. 2625, South 67 23 02" West 42.21 feet, South 89° 01 59" West 208.67 feet, South 0 16 S7" East 118.80 feet and South 89 01 59" West 2L7.40 feet to the point of beginning. to the City of Anahein, free and clear of all encumbrances, except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be, and it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendors the amount of the purchase price for said property, heretofore deposited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been re t and complied with. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 13th day of September 1960.
