A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THF CITY
OF ANAHEjl'ii AUTHORIZING THF PURCHASE, AND .4
SITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR PiNjCIPAL
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, PROVIDENCE FAREING COEPANY, a limited partner-
ship, is the owner of the hereinafter described real rroperty
situated in the City ref County of Orange, State of
California; and
1:%71-TREAS, said owner has offered t sell said property
to the City of Anaheim for the suni. of $27,02.7(71 cash, lawful
money of the United States; and
'ZIFER.E1S, the City Council does find and determine that
public convenience and necessity require the purchase and acquis-
ition. of said parcel of real property fr:r runicipal purposes,
and that the price which the owner thereof is willing to accept
is reasonable and not nut of proportion to the fair mar'ket value
Of' said prcperty;
NEAI, THEREFORE, RE IT R.FsOLVE.5 by the Ci ty Council of
the City of Anaheim tbat the offer of PROVIDENCE FAHYJNG 0
a limjted partnership, to sell to the City of Anaheim all tbat
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 21, Township

City of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances

fiscal year 1960-61, including special district

City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of A=naheim to sign escrow instructions for
the purchase of said real property, and to enter i.nt. an escrow
with the owner of said property at Grover Escrow Corporation,
111 South Illinois, Anaheim, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE that the City Auditor be, and
he is hereby, authorized to deposit in escrow at Grover Escrow
Corporation, 11]. Sauti; Illinois, Anaheim, California, the sum.
of $27, 028.7 cash, lawful money of the United States, to be
paid to PROVIDENCFF FARE`ING r'c,r_PPM when a deed conveying said
property to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encum-
brances, except, as h.ereinabove set forth, can be recorded and
a policy of title insurance issued by a reputable title c.orpany,
showing said property vested in the City of .Anaheim free and
clear of all encumbrances, except as hereinabove specified.
BE IT FURTHER RESOI.WE.r) tbat, the Seller shall pay the
usual and customary Seller's charges for furnishing a policy
of title insurance necessary to show title vested in the City
of Anaheim, as herein provided, and that. the City of A.naheirri
shall pay the 1rsual Ruyer's share in the purchase of said
property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution 6242 on the 23rd day of
August, 1960.
