A RESOLUTION, OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE LOCATIONS
FOR PARKING FETES, PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III,
CHAPTER, 3 OF TRE'ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE;
AND AUTHORIZING THE OPERATION OF SUCH METERS.
WHEREAS, tie. City Council of the City of Anaheim
duly adopted the Anaheim Municipal Code on July 22, 1952,
and Article III, Chapter 3 thereof defining and establishing
Parking Meter Zones, proViding for the installation, use and
control of parking meters relating to traffic and regulating
use of public streets, and providing for enforcement and
penalties for violation thereof; and
WHEREAS, the adopting said Mun-
icipal Code having been duly published, as reqUired by law
on the 24th day of July, 1952, and said Ordinance having
taken effect on the 22nd day of August, 1952, and said
Anaheim Municipal Code having become effective on said date;
and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides that
said parking meters shall be installed by the Director of
Public Works and Superintendent of Streets in such locations
as the City Council of the City of Anaheim shall,, by resolu-
tion, from time to time determine and order, within the zones
established by said Chapter 3 of said Anaheim Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets of the City of Anaheim be, and he
is hereby, authorized and directed to install parking meters
on both sides of Los Angeles Street, between Broadway and
Elm Streets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that operation of the parking
meters at the above location shall commence immediately after
the installation thereof, unuer Article III, Chapter 3 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
by me this 23rd day of August, 1960.
