A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road .and public
utility purposes and
offered to
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has
sell and convey the same to TER City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of SEVEN UP BOTTLING COMPANY OF
LOS ANGELES, INC., a corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land being a portion of the South half of
the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 26,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 26, distant thereon North 89 58' 50" East 175.90
feet from the center of said Section 26, said point also being
the centerline of Orangewood Avenue 40.00 feet wide as described
in deed to the County of Orange, recorded in Book 231, page 230
of Deeds; thence South 89 58 50" West a distance of 175.90 feet;
thence North 1 17' 40" West a distance of 45.01 feet to a point
in a line parallel with and 45.00 feet Northerly of the South line
of the Northeast quarter of Section 26; thence North 89 58' 50"
East a distance of 221.97 feet to the beginning of a curve concave
Northwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence Easterly
and Northerly, along said curve through a central angle of 101
22' 52" an arc distance of 26.54 feet; thence along a line bear-
ing South 11 24' 02" East a distance of 14.20 feet; thence along
a line bearing South 65 05' 10" West a distance of 68.98 feet to
a point in a line parallel with and 20.00 feet Northerly of the
South line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 26; thence
South 0 01' 10" East 20.00 feet to the point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 24th day of January 19 61
