A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to tie City; and.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of SIERRA DOWNS #1 INC.. a
California Corporation.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for n e sement f r oubl c utility purposes 9
and more partic descried as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across the Westerly 10.00 feet of the
Northerly 232.61 feet of the following described
land:
The West half of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho Los Bolsas, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
EXCEPTING, therefrom the Westerly 130.00 feet
thereof;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
