A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE
ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC UTILITY
EXTENSION AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT CONSISTING OF ELECTRIC LIGHT,
HEAT AND POWER LINES AND WORKS IN CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, AND THE ACQUISITION THEREFOR BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
BY EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY IN SAID CERTAIN PORTIONS OF SAID CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined that
the public interest and necessity require the acquisition, con-
struction and completion of a public utility extension and public
improvement consisting of electric light, heat and power lines
and works in certain portions of the City of Anaheim, to be used
for and necessary for:
(1) the transmission and distribution of electricity
for the purpose of furnishing and supplying electric light,
heat and power to the City of Anaheim and certain of the
inhabitants thereof; and
(2) the proper development and control of such use
of such electricity, at this time, and the future proper
development and control thereof,
as a part of the electrical system owned and operated by the City
of Anaheim for furnishing and supplying electrical energy to said
City and certain of the inhabitants thereof.
SECTION 2. The public interest and necessity require
the taking and acquisition by the City of Anaheim for said public
utility extension and public improvement and use, of the electric
light, heat and power transmission and distribution system of the
Southern California Edison Company located within said certain
portions of the City of Anaheim, including:

system of said Southern California Edison Company now held, owned,
or used by said Southern California Edison Company for the erection,
construction, maintenance, or operation of the distribution lines
to be taken by the City and described in Item 1 to 5 inclusive.
ITEM `7'
All commercial and engiiaeering maps a records of
said Southern California Edison Company used or useful in locating,
identifying and operating the above described properties or any
part thereof, sought to be coademned, meter records, transformer
records, billing records, service records, consumers" service
contracts, and all other re ords necessary or convenient in re-
cording, billing or collecting for electric service and for
maintaining said transmission and distribution, system and each and
every part thereof, sought to be condemned.

The Council herby finds that the taking of the property
described above is necessary for the said public utility extension
and public improvement.
SECTION 3. Said public; improvement is planned and
located in the manner which w'ii_1 be most compatible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury.
SECTION 4. The City Attorney of the City of Anaheim
is hereby directed to bring an action in the Superior Court of
the State of California, in and for the County of Orange, in the
name of the City of Anaheim to condemn by eminent domain proceed-
ings the property described in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 5. For the purposes of bringing such an action,
the City Attorney is hereby empowered to incur in the name of end
on behalf of said City, all obligations and expenses incidental thereto.
