A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TILE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION BY EMINENT DOMAIN
OF, REAL PROPERTY FOR THE PUBLIC PARKING OF
MOTOR VEHICLES, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 6107.
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the construction,
completion and maintenance of a public improvement within the City of
Anaheim, to wit: A public parking lot for the parking of motor vehicles;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that public
interest and necessity require the acquisition of all that certain real
property herein described by the City of Anaheim for the construction,
improvement and maintenance as a public parking lot or area for the parking
of motor vehicles;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that public interest and necessity
require the acquisition of that certain real property situated it the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
A parcel of land located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, being portions of the
Anaheim Home Tract, the Mary A. Goodman Tract, and Lot A
of Tract No, 97, of the Sinclair Ranch, more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL NO. 1
Lots 22, 20, 1B and 16 of said Anaheim Horne Tract as
shown on a map filed in Book 6, page 34, of Miscellaneous
Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County.
PARCEL NO. 2.
Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20,
21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 of the said
Mary A. Goodman Tract, as shown on a map filed in Book 7,
Page 21, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County.

Lot A of said Tract No. 97 in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map filed
in Bcok 11, page 39 of (;Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
EXCEPT, the East 135.32 feet of that portion thereof
lying South of the South line of the North 100.00 feet
thereof;
ALSO EXCEPT the North 100.00 feet of that portion
thereof lying East of the East line of the West
166.04 feet thereof.

ICE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby find
and determine that public interest end necessity require the acquisition
of said land by the City of Anaheim for the construction, completion and
maintenance of the aforesaid project, and that the taking of the property
hereinabove described is necessary therefor, and that the use to which it
is to be applied is a ase authorized by law, and the taking of said property
is necessary to such ase,
DE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that that certain Resolution of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim, heretofore passed by said City Council on
the 25th day of June, 1960, being designated "Resolution No. 6107," BE
and the same is HEREBY rescinded.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AUTHORIZED that said property be
acquired by the City of Anaheim, and the City Attcrney of the City of
n4oheir! is hereby (greeted to institute on action in eminent domain for
the acquisition of the title to said property, and to perform and carry oat
all of the necessary proceedings and steps incident to the acquisition of
the title to said property and to obtaining possession thereof.
TIIE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
22nd day of November, 1960.

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Coons
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said resolution on the 22 day of November, 1960.
