1960-6463WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter into an escrow with Santiago Land Co., a corporation, at California 3ank, Anaheim Office, Anaheim, California, for the purchase of the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: For easements for road and public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, said California Bank is now ready to close said escrow and a Grant Deed has been prepared conveying said real property to the City of Anaheim for easements for road and public utility purposes, free and clear of all encumbrances except as approved by the City Attorney; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the Grant Deed conveying to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described as: Parcel 2. An easement for road and public utility purposes of approximately 1.2 acres, as required by paragraph 5 of the Agreement between the parties dated August 22, 1960, and conforming to all the provisions of said Agreement; free and clear of all encumbrances, except as approved by the City Attorney, be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and when and if there is recorded a more detailed deed, approved by the City of Anaheim, conveying the aforesaid easements by exact legal description, then the Grant Deed above mentioned and hereby accepted shall be totally superseded by said deed containing the exact legal description. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be, and it is hereby authorized to deliver to the said vendor the amount of the purchase price for said property, heretofore deposited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been met and complied with. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 15th day of November, 1960. WITNESSETH, that whereas the Owner intends to erect FIRE STATION NO. 5 at 111 Dowling avenue in the City of Anaheim, California, hereinafter called the Work, NOW, THEREFORE, the Owner and the Architect, for the con- siderations hereinafter named, agree as follows: The Architect agrees to perform, for the above named work, professional services as hereinafter set forth. The Owner agrees to pay the Architect for such services a fixed fee of Two Thousand Sight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($2,850.00) with other payments and reimbursements as hereinafter provided. The parties hereto further agree to the following conditions: 1. THE ARCHITECT'S SERVICES. The Architect's professional ser- vices consist of the necessary conferences, the preparation of pre- liminary studies, working drawings, specifications, large scale and full size detail drawings, for architectural, structural, plumbing, heating, electrical, and other mechanical work; assistance in the drafting of forms of proposals and contracts; the issuance of cer- tificates of payment; the keeping of accounts, the general adminis- tration of the business and supervision of the Work. 2. REIMBURSEMENTS. The Owner is to reimburse the Architect for the oost of all reproductions of drawings in excess of the twelve (12) copies provided; the oost of any special consultants other than for locating of plumbing, heating, and /or air conditioning, electrical, and other mechanical work, and other disbursements on his account approved by the Owner. 3. EXTRA SERVICES AND SPECIAL CASES.
