A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE USE OF LA PALMA
STADIUM BY SERVITE HIGH SCHOOL `FOR FOOTBALL
GAMES; AND DIRECTING THE PREPARATION AND EX-
ECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR SAID USE.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns and maintains a
park known and designated as La Palma Park, upon which is
operated and maintained a stadium and related appurtenant
facilities known as La Palma Stadium; and
1. That said High School shall pay to the City
the sum of $350.00 per game, payable 24 hours
in advance of each game.
Finance
WHEREAS, the Servite High "School, a private paroch-
ial school in the City of Anaheim has heretofore requested
that it be permitted to use said La Palma Stadium for the
purpose of conducting football games to be open to the public
on September 24, September 29 and November 5, 1960; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the use of
said stadium by said High School will not conflict with the
use of said stadium by any other organization or the City
and that said use will be of public benefit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Servite High School, a private
parochial school, in the City of Anaheim be permitted to use
La Palma Stadium for the purpose of conducting football
games to be open to the public on September 24, September 29
and November 5, 1960, for the sum and upon the terms and
conditions hereinafter set forth:
2. That Servite High School shall carry public
liability insurance in the amounts of $10,000
and $20,000; property damage in the amount of
$25,000; and medical insurance in an amount
to cover all players.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby directed to prepare an agreement embodying
the provisions of this resolution to be made and entered into
by and between the City and said High School.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor Pro Tem
and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 1st day of November, 1960.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution No. 6430 on the 1st day of November,
1960.
