A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE LEASING OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FROM
WILLIAM E. FACKINER AND HELEN E. FACKINER.
Finance
WHEREAS, William E. Fackiner and Helen' E. Fackiner are the owners
of that certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 24 of Block A, Center Tract, also
known and designated as 121 East Broadway,
Anaheim, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to lease the two office
rooms on the west side of the building located on said property for the use
of the Chief of the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, said William E. Fackiner and Helen E. Fackiner have
submitted a form of lease for the leasing of said real property for a term
of one (1) year, commencing on the 1st day of October, 1960, and ending
on the 30th day of September, 1961, at a monthly rental of $85.00 per month,
payable in advance on the first day of each and every month of said term;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that said lease
is necessary and desirable and for the common benefit, and should, therefore,
be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the above mentioned office space in the property hereinabove
described, be leased from said William E. Fackiner and Helen E. Fackiner
upon the terms and conditions as set forth in that certain lease, dated
October 1, 1960, and this day submitted to the City Council for approval;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said lease, demising
and leasing the premises hereinabove described to the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 1st
day of November, 1960.
