A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell and
convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is
for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said
offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the offer of EDWARD A. SLAGLE and EFFIE P. SLAGLE, husband
and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to
be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Northerly three feet (3) of the
Southerly 53 feet of that portion of Lot 6 of the
Anaheim Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made
by William Hamel and acknowledged by Alfred Robinson
on 12 -11 -1868 on file in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California and being
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerline of
Center Street as shown on said map with the Westerly
line or the Southerly extension thereof of the tract
of land conveyed by James B. Mulvey to Cornelia
Mulvey et. al., also by deed recorded 1 -6 -34 in
Book 6501, Page 297 of Official Records, being the
Westerly line or the Southerly extension thereof
of the land described in Certificate of Title
No. 9794 issued by the Registrar of Titles of
Orange County Office in 12- 24 -43; thence N. 15 24'
West. along the said Westerly line or the Southerly
extension thereof of a distance of 407.32 fe8t to
the true point of beginning; thence So8th 75 01' W.
a distance of 107.5 feet; thence S. 14 43' E.
to th8 centerline of said Center Street; thence
N. 74 30' E. along said centerline of Center greet
107.5 feet to a point distant 4.86 feet, S. 74 30' W.
along said centerline from the intersection of said
centerline of Center Street with the Westerly line
or the Southerly extension thereof of said tract of
land conveyed by the deed above mentioned, being
the Westerly line or the Southerly extension thereof
of said land described in the Registrar's Certificate
of Title above mentioned; thence N. 14 43' W. 407.38
feet to the true point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar 01.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of November 1960
