1961-6848ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 6848 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY COMPANY GRANTING TO THE CITY A LICENSE TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND USE AN ELECTRIC SUPPLY LINE ACROSS OR ALONG THE PREMISES OF SAID RAILWAY COMPANY AT OR NEAR THE STATION OF SOUTH ANAHEIM, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA (CERRITOS AVENUE, M.P. 169 3500.6+). WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas corporation, has tendered to the City of Anaheim a license agreement dated September 6, 1960, licensing and permitting the City of Anaheim to construct, maintain and use an electric supply line containing a maximum of nine conductors, across or along the premises of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company at or near the station of South Anaheim, Orange County, California, subject to the terms, covenants and conditions contained in said agreement, the location of said electric supply line and the kind and gauge of said conductors, the phase, fre- quency and voltage of the electric circuit carried thereon being more particularly shown upon the print of said Railway Company No. L- 3- 24252, dated August 2, 1960, marked "Exhibit A," attached to and made a part of said license agreement; and WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been sub- mitted to the City Council for consideration, and the City Council does find and determine that it would be for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into said license agree- ment with said Railway company; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the license agreement, dated September 6, 1960, tendered to the City of Anaheim by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas corporation, licensing and permitting the City of Anaheim to construct, maintain and use an electric supply line containing a maximum of nine conductors, across or along the premises of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company at or near the station of South Anaheim, Orange County, California, subject to the terms, covenants and conditions therein contained, the location of said electric supply line and the kind and gauge of said conductors, the phase, frequency and voltage of the electric circuit carried thereon being more particularly shown upon the print of said Railway Company No. L- 3- 24252, dated August 24, 1960, marked "Exhibit A," attached to and made a part of said license agreement, be, and the same is hereby, approved and accepted. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement above mentioned for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
