A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINALLY ACCEPTING THE COMPLETION AND THE FURNISHING OF ALL PLANT, LABOR, SERVICES, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT AND ALL UTILITIES AND TRANSPORTATION INCLUDING POWER, FUEL AND WATER, AND PERFORMING ALL WORK NECESSARY TO CONSTRUCT AND COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT THE WA GNE R VISTA SEWER IMPROVEMENT, .ij.QaZi_ RF LY TO ANAN T Y -Q T V Q Tip H I CY WHEREAS, the City Council of th City of Anaheim did cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation,. printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, to wit: The Anaheim Bulletin 9 0i; N.vember 1 and November 1960 a no c nv1 ng sewed pr oposa or urn .s ng forrOing: (7F ANAHFTi✓�T NO_ 120 6808 All plant, labor, services, materials and equipment, and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct and complete in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accordance with the specifications, plans and drawings therefor on file in the Office of the City Engineer or City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, the following public improvement, to wit: The Wagner -Rio Vista Sewer Improvement, consisting of the construction of 8 -inch to 18 -inch V.C.P. sewer laterals in Wagner Avenue from Placentia Avenue easterly to Rio Vista Street and in Rio Vista Street northerly to Anaheim -Olive Road, in the City of Anaheim, including construction of 4 -inch V.C.P. house laterals, ?a -foot. and 5 -foot I.D. brick manholes, resurfacing with 1 -1/2 -inch A.C. pavement, and appurtenant work, as more particularly set forth in the plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk or City Engineer, Job No. 1203, in accordance with the designs, plans, profiles and specifica- tions prepared by Thornton E. Piersall Cit Engineer and the notice Inv'ting se Zed proposals, which said notice specified that sealed proposals as specified in said notice would be received up until 2:00 ouclock P.M. of the 1st day of December and which said notice did state c an e are ha tt, pursuano the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code, th City Council of the City of Anaheim had ascertained the prevailing rate of wages for each type of labor needed to execute said contract and did set forth the prevailing hourly wage scale so ascertained; and WHEREAS, on December 1 19 60 at the hour 2:00 o °clock OI the y Ok amity Engineer of the City of Anaheim did *pen s,.id sealed proposals received up to that time for the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, materials and equipment, and all utilities and transportation including power, fuel and w;.ter, and performing all work neces- sary to construct and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accordance with the specifications, plans and drawings therefor o file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, the public improv: meat hereinabove more parti- cularly describ'::d and set forth, in public, in the City Council Chamber in the City Hall, Anaheim, California, and the City Engineer did tabulate the result >f said sealed proposals and did make a report to the City Council t its next actiourn d regular meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, at its next adjourned regular meeting, held do the 6th day of 19 _6 at the hour of ouclock '.M., cons +ems sealed proposal's submitted or nishing the materials and performing the work hereinabove more particularly described and set forth, and did thereupon find and determine that the sealed proposal submitted by J. V's a ere'nabove mentioned and thscribe was the lowest respor]eib e proposal submitted then-for, and thereupon accepted said bid and did award a contr:.cot to said Santa Ana al' for furnishing all plant, labor, services, materials and equ meat and all utilities and transportation, including power, fuel and water, and performing all work necessary to construct and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, in strict accordance with the specifications, plans, and drawings, the said public improvement as specified in said notice inviting sealed proposals, and did authorize the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim to execute a contract for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim with J. S.
