1961-6683RESOLUTION NO. 6683 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM PURSUANT TO THE CALIFORNIA GOVERN- MENT CODE AND THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL OODE IN- ITIATING AND PROPOSING THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO TITLE 18 OF SAID MUNICIPAL OODE AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY MADE A PART THEREOF CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN OF THE ZONES THEREBY ESTABLISHED SO AS TO EXCLUDE THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED FROM THE R-A ZONE AND SO AS TO INCORPORATE IT IN THE P -L ZONE AND THE M -1 ZONE AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH; AND REFERRING THIS PROPOSAL TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR A REPORT. -1- Planning WHEREAS, the property described as the westerly 10 acres of the southerly half of the westerly half of Lot 17 in Block K of the Kraemer Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange State of California, as per map recorded in Book 12, pages i7 and 88, of Miscellaneous Records, in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, which land is also included within the area shown on a map filed in Book 34, page 37,of Record of Surveys, in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, and is herein- after referred to as "said property," is now incorporated in the boundaries of the R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, under Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and the Zoning Map of the City made a part thereof, and the City Council deems it to be for the public interest to initiate and pro- pose the adoption of an amendment to said Code and Zoning Map changing said property from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRI- CULTURAL ZONE to other zones; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Coun- cil, pursuant to the California Government Code and the Anaheim Municipal Code, hereby initiates and proposes the adoption of an amendment to said Municipal Code and Zoning Map, changing the boundaries of certain of the zones thereby established so as to exclude said property from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and so as to incorporate said property in the P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE and the M -1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE as follows: A strip of land 50 feet in width along La Palma Avenue shall be incorporated in the P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE; and The balance of the said property shall be in- corporated in the M -1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. The owners of said property deed to the City of Anaheim, for street widening purposes, a strip of land 53 feet in width, extending northerly from and along the center line of La Palma Avenue. The owners of said property place of record M -1 deed restrictions approved by the City Attorney. 5. Condition Nos. 1 and 4 hereof be satisfied within 90 days after this proposal is adopted by resolution of the City Council or within such further time as the City Council may grant. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above proposal be, and the same is hereby referred to the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim for a report and before making such report such Commission be, and it is hereby, directed to hold at least one public hearing in the manner prescribed by law. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 21st day of February, 1961. CITY CLE 2. All engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim, along La Palma Avenue, relating to curbs, gutters and rough grading, be complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer, and that said engineering require- ments or improvements be installed at the time the property is developed. 3. The owners of said property shall concurrently with the installation of the improvements under paragraph 2 hereof either: EST: (a) Pay to the City of Anaheim at the time said property 'is developed the sum of $2.00 per front foot on La Palma Avenue for street lighting purposes, or (b) Install street lights in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Office of the City Engineer.
