A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility purposes
and
offered to
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha.s
sell and convey the same to The City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of RIJANO INCORPORATED, a Corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility purposes over, under
and across the Easterly 5.00 feet of the following
described parcel of land:
The North half of the East half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section. 16, Township L South, Range 10 West in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map,
recorded in Book 51, Page 1C, of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California.
Being further described as the North half of the
East half of Lot 5 of Helen and Lynch s Addition to
Anaheim, as shown on a map, recorded in Book W,
Page 156, of Deeds records of Los Angeles County,
California
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar *1,00)0
