did cause to be published in a newspaper of general circula-
tion printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim.,
to wit: the Anaheim Eulletin,on the 5th and 12th days of July,
1961, a notice inviting sealed proposals for the right to
operate the publLe concession at the Anaheim Golf Course In
the City of Anaheim for the sale of food, beverages (including
beer, but no other alcoholic beverages), pop-corn, ice cream,
candy, cigars, cigarettes and tobacco, and other light
articles. (Concessionaire to obtain and mlintain the on-
sale beer license and to pay electrical and/or gas and
telephone expenses.)
AND ,IIERaS, such notice inviting sealed proposals for
said right to operate the public concession at the Anaheim Golf
Course In the Cty of Anaheim did provide that sealed proposals
would be received by the City of Anaheim at the office of the
City Clerk up to the hour of 2:00 o'clock P.N. on July 20, 1961,
Eor the right to operate said concession; and
,HIEREAS, the City Clerk of the City oE Anaheim did
receive sealed proposals prior to 2:00 o'clock P.U. on July 20,
1961, for the right to operate said public concession, which
proposals were opened on said date at the hour of 2:00 o'clock
P.L. in public in the City Council Chamber in the City gall in
the City of 'Anaheim by the City Clerk and the Director of Pub-
lic /Jorks, and duly tabulated by the Director of Public 'Iorks
and the result thereof reported to the City Council at its
next regular meeting for action thereon by said City Council.
That sealed proposals were received from the following persons,

AND WHEREAS, the City Council does find that the sealed
proposal of STEMRT MMISSARIES is the highest responsible bid
for che right to operate the public concession at the Anaheim
Golf Course and that said proposal of STET:ART CO=SSARIES should
be accepted and a contract awarded to said STET,7ART COnaSSARIES
for the right to operate said concession.
N0 TH.EaEFORE, BE IT RESCIVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said proposal submitted by STE,:ART
COMMISS,..RIES, a corporation, 1125 E. Ash Avenue, Fullerton,
California, for the right to operate the public concession at
the Lnaheim Golf Course in the City of Anaheim for the sale of
food, beverages (including beer, but no other alcoholic bever-
ages), pop-corn, ice cream, candy, cigars, cigarettes and
tobacco, and other light articles,--concessionaire to obtain
and maintain the on-sale beer license and to pay electrical
and/or gas and telephone expenses, as specified in the notice
inviting sealed proposals therefor, be and the same is hereby
accepted, and that a contract for the right to operate said
public concession at the Anaheim Golf Course, 430 North Gilbert
Street, Anaheim, California, be and the same is hereby awarded
to STET:ART COMMISSARIES.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim be, and they are hereby, authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim
with said STEWART COHHISSARIES a written contract for the right
to operate said public concession hereinabove more particularly
described,. in accordance with the specifications for said
concession on file in the office of the Director of Public
Works, said notice inviting sealed proposals and the terms of
this resolution, and the contract approved by the City Attorney
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING aESOLUTTON is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of July, 1961.
