1961-7026WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to have the
Stanford Research Institute conduct for the City a research
program relating to planning factors and economics of a
convention hall- auditorium multipurpose building in the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, Stanford Research Institute has offered to
conduct such research program and has submitted to the City its
Proposal No. IS -61 -143 dated February i., 1961, which has heretofore
been accepted by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim and said Stanford Research
Institute desire to enter into an agreement outlining the terms
and conditions for the performance of said research services
by said Institute; and
WHEREAS, said Stanford Research Institute has this
day submitted to the City Council a form of agreement to be
made and entered into by and between said Research Institute and
the City of Anaheim as of June 15, 1961, the terms and conditions
of which agreement the City Council finds to be satisfactory and
should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted to the
City Council to be made and entered into by and between the
City of Anaheim and Stanford Research Institute for the performance
by said Institute of certain research services relating to
planning factors and economics of a convention hall- auditorium
multipurpose building in the City of Anaheim, upon the terms
and conditions set forth in said agreement, be, and the same
is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute said agreement for
and on behalf of the City of Anaheim as of June 15, 1961.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 5th day of July, 1961.
