A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
C TT Y OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that. the offer of JOSEPH D. HUARTE and DOROTHY C.
HUARTE, husband and wife

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utilit purposes
and more particularly descreas fo ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across, the Easterly 53.00 feet (as measured
from the centerline of Placentia Avenue), of that portion
of Lot 16, of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a map, by
William Hamel and filed for record, in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Placentia
Avenue, 60.00 feet in width, and Vermont Avenue 66.00
feet in width, said point also being the Southeasterly corner
of said Lot 16; thence from said point of beginning and
along the centerline of Vermont Avenue, and the Southerly
line of said Lot 16, S. �4° 341 15" West 641.43 feet more
a' less to the Westerly line of the land conveyed to Bernard
Schroeder by deed, recorded in Book 352, page 266 of
deeds, Records of Orange County, California; thence along
te Westerly line of the land of Schroeder, N. 15 27' 20"
West 255.63 feet; thence N. 74 341 15" East 712.57 feet
tothe Easterly line of said Lot 16, said Easterly line
also being the centerline of said Placentia Avenue; thence
S. 0 05f 15" West 265.51 feet along the East line of said
Lot 16, to the point of beginning.
Excepting, therefrom, the Southerly 135.00 feet of the
Easterly 135.00 feet thereof;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anahe im, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anah %lm be and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim the sum of One Dollar ($1000)0
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of July 1961
