A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to tare City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that. the offer of W. H. JEWETT and WINNETTA N.
JEWETT, husband and wife

over, under and across that portion of lot 5 of
Tract No. 71 as shown on a map recorded in
book 10, page 22 of miscellaneous maps, records
of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of
Katella Ave. and Placentia Ave., said point
being the Northwest corner of lot 5 of said
Tract No. 71, thence S. 89° 45' 20" East
along the center line of Katella Avenue a
distance of 196.00 feet, thence South 0 07' 50"
W. 60.00 feet, thence N 89° 451 20" West 123.00
feet to an angle point, thence S 45 11' 15" West
28.26 feet to the intersection with a line par
allel with and 53.00 feet Easterly of center
line of said Placentia Avenue, thence S 0 07' 50"
West a distance of 130.00 feet, thence N 89
451 20" W 53.00 feet to the center line of said
Placentia Avenue, thence N 0 071 50" E along
the center line of said Placentia Avenue 210.00
feet to the point of beginning.

property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)0
