A RESOLUT ION OF TRi: CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERll1IT TO SANDY
~iAC TAVISH TO OPERATE AND CONDUCT TEEN-AGE
INSTRUCTIONAL DANCES AT HIS STUDIO AT 13.5~ WEST
CENTER ST~ET ONCE A WEEK ON SATURDAY EVENINGS
WHEREAS, on or about the 18th 6.ay of September, 1956
the City Council of the City of Anaheim did receive a request
from Sandy Hac Tavish, IJ5~ '(lest Center Street, Anaheim, Calif-
ornia, for permission to operate and conduct teen-age instruct-
ional dances in his studio at 135~ West Center Street, Anaheim,
California; and
vlHEREAS, the City Council finds, after careful consider-
ation of saia request, that a special use permit should be
granted to said Sandy Mac Tavish to conduct said dances, for a
period. of' six (6) months, upon the conca tions hereinafter set
forth,
NOW, T,~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that a special use permit be, and the same
is hereby, granted to Sandy Hac Tavish, IJ5~ West Center Street,
Anaheim, Ca~ifornia, to operate and conduct teen-age instruct-
ional dances at his studio at 135~ West Center Street, once a
week on Saturday evenings, subje ct to the following conditions:
1. That said dances shall be conducted between the
hours of 8:00 o'clock P. M. and 12:00 o'clock

Z. There shall be no smoking; anyone caught doing
so shall be elimin8.ted from the Dance Club.
J. Liquor in any form shall be barred. Anyone try-
ing to gain his entrance' to these dances with
liquor on his person or under the influence shall
be barred as well as his memberslnp discontinued.
Lj No one shall leave the dance dur lng said hours
unless there be a written request or phone call
by his pare nt s .
5. There shall be four parents or more as chaperones.
Any parent me,y visit free any of these teen-age
functions.
6. There shall be a required dress at each functional
dance, Jackets with Club Insignias of any organ-
izations shall not be allowed.

7. These dances shall be conQuc tad to a conformity
with absolutely no petting, suggestive dancing or
anything pertaining to such.
8. Said special use permit hereby granted shall ex-
pire six months from date hereof.

The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke
such special use permit for good cause or failure of said
owner or his heirs, successors or assigns to comply with the
Anaheim Municipal Code and regulations and the conditions
herein.
