A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to tie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of NATIONAL BISCUIT COMPANY, a
corporation,

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utillt ur oses
and more particularly descri'b'ed as fo ows:`�
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Westerly 53.00 feet of that portion of the West
half of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 24, Township 4. South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in
book 51, page 10 of miscellaneous maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the West line of
said Section and the Southeasterly line of the Southern Pacific
Railroad right of way as described in deed recorded June 28, 1888
in Book 461, page 21 of Records of Los Angeles, County, California;
thence Southerly along said West line 200.00 feet; thence
Easterly, at right angles to said West Line, 400.00 feet;
thence Northerly parallel with said West line to said South-
easterly line of said railroad right of way; thence South-
westerly along said Southeasterly line to the ,point of be-
ginning.
For the purposes of this description the Westerly line of the
Southwest quarter of said Section 24 shall be construed as
a straight line, between the West quarter section corner of
said Section 24, and the Southwest corner of said Section 24,
as shown on a Map filed in Book 52, page 29 of Record of
Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
'Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim the sum of One Dollar ($1
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
