RESOLUTION NO. 1424
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN OERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2,01
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED
TO ACOOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
WHEREAS, the Oity Planning Oommission of the Oity of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution deolaring its
intention to ohange the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described and did fix a time and plaoe for the holding
of a publio hearing thereon in the manner and as presoribed in
Artiole IX, Ohapter 2 of the Anaheim Munioipal Code, and did du1y
hold and conduct two publio hearings to consider suoh proposed ohange
of zone or zones and did reoeive evidence and reports from persons '
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announoe
by formal resolution its findings of facts and, deolare its opinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed changes
of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
Oity Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
]4th day bf AwrUAt , 19.5~, as the t1p1e and the Council
Ohambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for
a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such pUblic hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an oP!Jortunity to be heard
and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
reoommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be chan/Z~dfrom the zone in whioh it
is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth, is more
suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to ohange
sa.id property and area and that the inclusion of said property and
area in such new zone or zones will inorease the Value of said
property and area and will not depreciate the values of property in
adjoining zones.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
Oity of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, desoribed
as follows, to wit:
Tract 2401 recorded in Book 76 of Miscellaneous
Maps at Pages 32 and 33 of Official Records of
Orange County. (Said property is bounded by West
La Palma Avenue on the South, Romneya Drive on
the north and North Citron Street on the west. )

be changed from &-1. SINGLE-FAHILY-RE~IDENTUL ZONE to R-3,
MULTIPLE-FA1~ILY-RESIDENTIAL ZONE.
Subject to the following condition:
That the R-3 deed restrictions for Tract 2401,
recorded in Book 3590, Pages 460 to 463, Docu-
ment No. 101015, in the office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, be complied with.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Oity Attorney be, and he is
h~.by authorized and direoted to prepare and submit to the City
Council an amendment to Artiole IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Muni-
cipal Oode to amend said Anaheim Municipal Code to aocomplish the
obJeot herein found and determined to be necessary and proper.
