ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
RESOLUTION NO, 6898
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes an
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to tFie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of BETDINE PROPERTIES INC., A Corporation,
to sell to the City of A ATliFiTM described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as fo ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that parcel of land, being a portion of the East half
ofthe Fractional NW4 of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.E. M., located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point distant 913.00 feet Southerly of the NW
Corner of the E- of the Fractional NW4 of said Section 3
(measured along the West line of said E1 of the Fractional
NW4 of said Section 3); thence along a line N 89 421 40"
E 367.10 feet; thence N 0 251 30" W a distance of 8.00 feet;
thence N 89 42 40" E a distance of 962.66 feet, to the NE
Corner of that parcel of land conveyed to the Betdine Properties
Inc., A Corporation by deed March 25, 1955, and filed for record
in Book 3008, Page 566, Records of Orange County, California;
thence Southerly along the East line of said Betdine Properties,
Inc. land, a distance of 13.50 feet; thence S 89 42 40" W.
962.66 feet; thence S 0 25 30" E., a distance of 5.50 feet;
thence S 69 )12 40" W., a distance of 367.10 feet;
thence Northerly along the West line of the E3 of the Fractional
NW4 of said Section 3, to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
tf Anahe im, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property' out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim the sum of One Dollar ($1000)°
