A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with Lawrence John Kelly, at Orange County
Title Company, 412 N. Main Street, Santa Ana, California,
for the purchase of the hereinafter described real property
for pUblic purposes; and
WHEREAS, said Orange County Title Company is now
ready to close said escrow and a deed has been prepared con-
veying said property to the City of Anaheim, free and clear
of all encumbrances except all taxes for the fiscal year
1956-57, a lien not yet payable, and covenants, conditions,
restrictions, reservations, rights, rights-of-way and ease-
ments of record.
NOW, THEREFOnE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of the swt of the NWt of Section 7,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M. des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the South-
west t of the Northwest t of said Section; thence
Northerly along the Easterly line thereof 299.99
feet; thence Westerly parallel with the South
line of said Southwest t, 121.53 feet; thence
at right angles Southerly 229.98 feet to said
South line; thence Easterly along said South line
118.79 feet to the point of beginning.
Together with all rights to the well and pumping
plant located thereon.
to the City of Anaheim be, and the same is hereby, accepted
by the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be,
and it is hereby authorized to deliver to said Vendor the
amount of the purchase price for said property heretofore de-
posited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been
met and complied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 7th day of August, 1956.
