RESOLUTION NO. 3414
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE INCLUSION OF ADDITIONAL STREETS
IN THE SYSTEM OF MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, Section 2052 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California provides that the system of major City Streets shall be
selected by the City Council on the basis of greatest general City
importance subject to the approval of the Department of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has selected certain
streets which it desires to have included in the system of major City
Streets, such additional streets being of importance to cross-town traffic
and the industrial development of the City.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
that the Department of Public Works of the State of California be requested to
approve the inclusion of the following streets and portions of streets in the
system of Major City Streets of the City.
The frontage road connecting Lincoln Avenue and Loera
streets from a point on Lincoln Avenue which is just east of the
new Santa Ana Freeway to a point of intersection with Loara Street
as shown on State Highway plans of the new Santa Ana Freeway.
