whereby it declared its intention to vacate and abandon and close to public
use easements for street purposes upon. over, across and along the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, Oounty of Orange, State
of California, to wit:
Lot 4, Block A of Tract 796, as recorded in Book
24, Page 28 of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange Oounty.
Lot 3, Block A of Tract 796. as recorded in Book
24, Page 28 of Miscellaneous Maps of Orange Oounty.
The Easterly 690.29 feet of Lot 5, Block A of
Tract 796 as recorded in Book 24, Page 28 of
Miscellaneous Maps of Orange Oounty.
under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
AND WEERE.AS, the Oity Oouncil in said Ordinance referred to a map
on file in the Office of the Oity Clerk for further particnlarB aB to the
proposed vacation, abandonment and closing to public use of said easements
for street purposes: and
~V.AS. said City Council did by said Ordinance fix the 12th
d~ of June, 1956, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chamber, in the City
Hall of the City of Anaheim as the time and place for a public hearing on
the matter of such vacat ion, abandonment and closing to public use of said
easements for street purposes, for all persons interested in or objecting to
such proposed vacation, abandonment and closing to public use to appear and
show cause, if any they had, w~ such easements for street purposes should
not be vacated, abandoned and closed to public use: and
WRMR~AS, said Ordinance was published on the 16th d~ of ~, 1956,
in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circnlation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Oalifornia:
and
WHEREAS. by said Ordinance said City Council directed that notices
of the passage of said Ordinance and of the time and place of the hearing
on the matter of the vacation, abandonment and closing to public use of said
easements for street purposes be posted conspicuously along the lines of sald
easements. not more than JOO feet apart, at least ten (10) d~s before sald
hearing, and that not less than three (J) such notices should be posted along
the line of each easement: and

WHEREAS, Marvin P. Bushnell did on the Jlst d~ of M~, 1956, post
conspicuously nine such notices, posting three along the line of each easement,
which notices were posted less than JOO feet apart and were posted at least
10 d~s before said hearing; and

WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 12th d~ of June, 1956,
at 7:00 olclock P.M.. at said City Hall, conduct a public hearing on the
matter of w.hether said easements for street purposes, hereinafter described.
should be vacated. abandoned and closed to public use, and at said hearing
did hear evidence thereon: and

WHEREAs, the City Council finds from all evidence submitted that
said easements for street purposes described in the Ordinance of Intention
and hereinafter described. are necessary for present or prospective street
purposes and that an order vacating and abandoning such easements should not
be made.
Anaheim:
NOW. mEREFoRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
1. That it finds from all evidence submitted that said easements
for street purposes described in said Ordinance are necessary for present
or prospective public purposes.
2. That it does hereby order that all proceedings for the
abandonment of said easements be terminated, and that said easements for
street purposes not be vacated. abandoned and closed to public use.
J. That said easements for street purposes are more partiCUlarly
described as follows:
